Today an open lesson was held at Geghanush secondary school, the topic of the lesson was about the environment, aimed at enhancing the students’ environmental knowledge, develop love and care towards the nature.  The students demonstrated the methods of nature conservation through chemical experiments and theatre performances. The open lesson was held in a new outdoor classroom built with the support of the company, and the ribbon announcing its opening was cut today.

 

The event was also attended by the company management who wrote down their suggestions for preserving the atmosphere in the “Green Book” made by the school’s student council. They also agreed on at school that the company will support another new initiative. It is planned to create a greenhouse facility.

On behalf of the teachers and students, school principal Gayane Grigoryan expressed gratitude to the company management for supporting the programs implemented in the school, as well as providing financial support for student textbooks, organizing passenger transportation and other social programs each year.

David Tovmasyan, General Manager of Chaarat Kapan, and Darin Cooper, Chief Operating Officer at Chaarat Gold International Limited, got acquainted with another initiative implemented by the company; the renovation works of Geghanush kindergarten.
